Hurray! Nigerian Bribery Rate Drops By 30%
Statistics coming from international organizations like the world bank have not been favorable to Nigeria especially in bribery and corruption. Some of them even indicates that Nigeria is close to becoming the poverty capital of the world.
Internal statistics reportedly ranked Kogi state as the state with the highest corruption rate in the country.
At last, there was cheering news from the National Bureau of Statistics which claims that Nigeria’s bribery rate has fallen by 30%. The cheering news was received with mixed feelings by Nigerians.
This is because they still face bribery in public organizations in Nigeria. A bulk of this category of people is job seekers who have faced extortion.
