I am The Scapegoat of Edo APC – Oshiomhole
The national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Adams Oshiomhole has described himself as the scapegoat of Edo politics after the state government banned all political rallies in the state.
Oshiomhole had planned a grand rally which political analyst has described as a show of strength to receive some politician’s that he referred to as friends but it was aborted.
Among the friends received by Adams Oshiomhole is Pastor Ize Iyamu who contested against Governor Godwin Obaseki in the 2016 governorship election.
Many people saw the cancellation of the rally as a victory for Governor Godwin Obaseki whose downfall was being plotted by Oshiomhole and his loyalists in Edo state.
Pastor Iyamu had recently defected from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress just a few weeks ago after it became obvious that the feud between Obaseki and Oshiomhole was not coming to an end.
However, there are fears that the APC in Edo state will go into the 2020 election divided which may spell doom for the party if the opposition is strong enough.
